Run to Home Base →
I’m doing the Run to Home Base in May. It’s a 9K run in Boston that ends at home plate at Fenway Park. It’s a fundraiser for the Home Base Program which supports wounded service members and veterans with combat stress and traumatic brain injuries. It’s a fantastic cause and I hope you’ll support me with your donations. And if you are in Boston on May both, please come out and cheer us on. I know I’ll need all the encouragement I can get.

Day 3: A Book You Love
Anne of Green Gables.
I love this book…I have a copy and have read it many many times. I’m a quirky, sometimes testy redhead…so yeah, I enjoy the book. And my mom used to read me this book as a kid. She’d read me a new chapter every night. We’d sit on my bed and I’d love hearing what new adventures Anne was getting into. So, when I think of this book…I think of my mom.
Someday I’m gonna go to Prince Edwards Island….someday. Gonna go hang out in Anne of Green Gables land.
I’ve done the Prince Edward Island trip. I took my mother about six years ago. It’s a gorgeous place. I loved walking along the beaches and afternoon tea at a fancy hotel. And i picked up some really nice jams while there.
